Just as much as 'Santa Claus’ might look out of place on the roof of this makeshift abode, so are its dwellers, who together with 12,000 other Afro-Colombians have been displaced from their rural villages and have for the past three years been living in an illegal shantytown right outside the picturesque city of Cartagena.
